A recent garage fire in Sugar Land, Texas, may have Fisker in hot water. Owner Jeremy Gutierrez had only owned the hybrid sports sedan for 2 months. He’s the CEO of iEnergy, and he described smelling a burning rubber odor just prior to the vehicle catching fire. Details are still a bit dim at this point. Fisker defenders say that plenty of other combustible materials either in Gutierrez’s garage or picked up on via the road could have been the culprit. Luckily, no one was hurt. However, this could spell more trouble for Fisker. The Karma is, inarguably, a beautiful machine built according to a laudable design philosophy. However, it can’t seem to stay out of hot water
